Resilience: the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness
Scale of 1 to 10.
1 is low, 10 is high
Where do you put yourself for “resiliency”?
And what number would best serve you for what’s going on in your life these days?
For myself, I find it interesting where I “have” resilience and where it’s like I didn’t even know bouncing back was an option. In the last 12-18 months I’ve been working on developing my ability to bounce back. My guess is that I have sometime looked like a bobble-head doll….
Reflecting on where I do recover quickly within a situation or circumstance, I spent the time to literally capture the process I go through in the moment, so I could clear see the flow I was developing on how to do this for myself and how to bring this to MORE situations in my life.
Recently I was sent this resilience blog. I think these 5 strategies are smart and I like the way the author captures both what to do & how to make it happen to yourself. So here you go. Remember – 5 strategies doesn’t happen in a day. Choose 1, and make a solid plan on how to make it happen. In my opinion, only when you can teach the skill to others (well), do you have a chance of being good at it yourself.
Enjoy the read. And the building of this within you xo
